All this makes it a very special territory. In this variety of places, the Nama tomato has found, as a common denominator, an ideal habitat for its cultivation.
Nama is cultivated mainly in Piedmont, Veneto, Sicily and Calabria. We seek to produce Nama during the most suitable season, with the least amount of risk to the producer, keeping the quality and taste of the tomato as the objective.
SUSTAINABLE CULTIVATION
Nama: the “sustainable” tomato
Researching the correct “area” means producing in a sustainable and profitable way. By not forcing seasonality, i.e. by producing in passive greenhouses, preventing extreme climatic conditions, we avoid using, for example, heating with consequent high costs. As a result, plant treatments are significantly reduced and an excellent quality product is obtained.
